Big Band

Big Bands are just that big bands. Learning about big bands made me think of a marching band, made up of trumpets, trombones, saxophones, and a rhythm section of guitar, piano, double bass, and drums.
Big Bands started in the 1910 to be the music for dancing from the waltz to the jitterbug. Big Bands play a wide variety of music from classical to jazz.
On my last trip to NOLA (November 2016) I saw a lot of Big Bands marching the streets following a Bride and Groom.

Also on this trip we visited Preservation Hall, in my opinion this "Big Band" was the most talented musicians I have ever heard and is a must when visiting New Orleans.
